Kong: Skull Island is an adventure movie directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts that will transport you to an exotic island filled with mysterious and impressive creatures. This film marks a new collaboration with Industrial Light & Magic. Rodeo FX’s previous collaborations with this studio include Warcraft (2016), Tomorrowland (2015), and Unbroken (2014).

This film marks a new collaboration with Industrial Light & Magic. Rodeo FX’s previous collaborations with this studio include Warcraft (2016), Tomorrowland (2015), and Unbroken (2014).

Much of the work can be found in film’s opening sequence during a fight between two World War II pilots. Rodeo FX also created numerous matte paintings to represent multiple locations around the island and its jungle, including a sequence that involves pillars that can ultimately reveal secrets about Kong’s origins when properly aligned.
